Doe Deere is a brightly colored L.A it girl, who has been called the “Queen of Unicorns” because of her bright and mystical style. Originally born and raised in Russia, Deere has some of her fondness memories there. For insistence, her first business she opened as a child. When she was 13 years old, she started a temporary tattoo business in Russia which she says was a lot of fun. First, Deere started to wear them to school and really made them look cool and popularized them among her classmates. Then classmates started to purchase them. Deere sees this as her first push to get into the entrepreneur spirit. At the age of 17, Doe Deere, moved to New York City to chase a dream of becoming a musician. She credits this time in her life as preparing her for what is to come with her new business venture. Deere says she learned the way of marketing and the appreciation of fans as being a musician. Doe Deere, stayed in New York from 1998 to 2012 and lived in multiple places like Manhattan and Brooklyn which is where she considers her stomping ground. While being a musician, she met her husband who was part of the band and who she worked closely with.
Doe Deere is the founder of Lime Crime cosmetics, an innovative make-up line that offers bright beautiful colored make-up products which are vegan and cruelty free certified by PETA and Leaping Bunny. She started this line because after selling clothes on EBay, she discovered that she loved bright and fun colored make-up. But the problem was that most make-up company were stuck in a natural trend and did not offer much bright colorful varieties of make-up. So, this is when Doe Deere took it upon herself to create a fun filled colorful line that would fit into a unicorn’s wonderland. She was truly shocked about how many individual’s love bright and fun make up as much as she did. Lime Crime is one of the first completely digital beauty brands and has developed a cult like following. Doe Deere’s mission was to create a makeup brand that helps people express themselves in any way they see fits.
Deere, offers a message to people around the world to chase their dreams and fellow their hearts. She believes everybody has some talent or quality that makes them different and encourages them to share it with the world.
