Jimmy Stewart

Jimmy Stewart grew up knowing that music would be how he’d find his way through the world. The son of a drifting picker, Jimmy spent his childhood moving from town to town with his father and jamming with anyone who could pick up an instrument, including legendary picker Josh Graves. For Jimmy, it was a long path of backyard jams, bluegrass festivals, and back roads.

With great heart and authenticity, Jimmy has worked hard and written with old friends and stalwarts alike: Shawn Camp, Chris Stapleton, Guy Clark, Pat McLaughlin, and others. Eventually, Jimmy joined iconic duo Brooks & Dunn as a utility player for their cross-country tours. While on the road, he has filled in for Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, and Earl Scruggs. This fiddle playing kid has come a long way, and he still hears more music in his dreams.
